ABOUT THE RUBY LOUNGE
Music is at the heart of The Ruby Lounge and food is the soul. We are all about offering you the best live music experience possible: excellent sound, comfortable volume, a cabaret style experience where you can choose to sit, dine, dance and enjoy.
We'll be celebrating local musicians, national and international touring musicians offering a style of event which offers maximum enjoyment.
What's cookin' at The Ruby Lounge...
There are two sides to the story at the Ruby Lounge, the restaurant/café and the venue. The Café is open 7 days/nights a week for dining, with music on the side. Sometimes we'll host touring bands, special dinner and show events, cabaret nights and more. You can check out what's cookin' at the Ruby Lounge by reading the calendar on our website, you can also join our mailing list and we'll keep you updated so you don't miss out on Ruby's treats.
If we're not hosting an out of town act then we'll be celebrating our local talent in the following ways...
Monday night
No live music but we are open for great food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights - 'Music on the side'
Delights for the all senses. We're open for dinner, drinks and listening pleasure. We'll be dishin' up our ever-changing menu of treats from The Ruby Lounge chef Clive Goodger and his team, with some music on the side. The musical palate we'll be selecting from will be jazz, alternative country, latin, blues, folk, singer-songwriters. Friday Night Express
Wrap up your week with an after-work wine with friends and we'll provide some energy in the house to celebrate the end of the work week with a fab piano man or gal playing boogie on Ruby's Piano from 6.00pm. After dinner we'll keep the party rollin' with a dance band from 8.00pm.
Saturday night Special
Saturday night will be an event night on the venue side - a cabaret, dance/dine, dinner and show style event check out the calendar for details.
Sunday Soiree
We're going to offer some special sunday events e.g. New Orleans Jazz and High Tea from 4.00 - 7.00pm, check out the calendar for details.
